These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CadenzaStay's property management platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Payment Processing & Billing

🔒 Secure Payment Processing by Stripe

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. CadenzaStay does not store your payment information on our servers.

  • Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant
  • Your payment data is encrypted and tokenized
  • We never see or store your credit card details
  • All transactions are processed securely through Stripe's infrastructure

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Unit-based pricing reflects your property portfolio size
  • You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
  • Charges are prorated when you change plans mid-cycle
  • Free trial periods do not require payment method until trial ends

Refunds & Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months, except in cases of service failure
  • Downgrade credits are applied to future invoices

Data Processing & Privacy

Your Data Rights

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA. You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data.

Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted service providers who help us deliver our service:

  • Stripe: Payment processing and billing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
  • Clerk: User authentication and account management
  • Supabase: Data storage and real-time features
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery

User Responsibilities

As a user of CadenzaStay, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users
  • Not misuse or attempt to disrupt our services

Service Availability

For urgent maintenance issues affecting payment processing, we work directly with Stripe to ensure minimal impact on your billing operations.

Limitation of Liability

CadenzaStay's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

For payment processing issues, Stripe's terms and liability limitations apply to transactions processed through their platform.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
